Prof. Sudhir K. Jain is currently an Adjunct Professor at I.I.T. Delhi, I.I.M. Jammu, MNIT Jaipur and Netaji Subhash University of Technology, New Delhi. Previously, he has served as Vice Chancellor, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (Katra, J&K); Director General, National Institute for Entrepreneurship & Small Business Development (NIESBUD), Govt. of India; Professor, Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management & Entrepreneurship, Jawaharlal Nehru University; Professor Emeritus, Netaji Subhash University of Technology, and; Professor & Head of the Department of Management Studies, I.I.T. Delhi. He has co-authored the book "Managerial Economics" with Prof. H. Craig Petersen and Prof. W. Chris Lewis of Utah State University (USA); this book has been published by Pearson Education. Prof. Jain has been a pioneer in IPR education in the country and has been associated with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in various capacities. He was Visiting Professor, Mongolian Technical University, Ulaanbaatar in 1996. He has extensively travelled to about 35 countries for different academic activities. He was the President of Global Institute of Flexible Systems Management Society during 2021-22. He is Fellow of Indian Society for Training & Development and has been Chairman of its Delhi Chapter and Vice President (North India). He has been a Council Member of All India Management Association twice. He has been Chairman/Member of several committees set up by the Government of India and various State Govts. Prof. Jain has published about 200 research papers in international/national journals and conference-proceedings and has supervised about 30 Ph.D. scholars.
