Transport Phenomena, Modelling And Simulation, Wastewater Treatment, Computational method for linear/non-linear problems, Polymer Process Modeling , Mass Transfer, Membrane Separation , Piping Engineering, Numerical Modelling, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).

Brief Research Profile

The major areas of his research are Wastewater Treatment, Polymer Process Modeling, Membrane Separation, Transport Phenomena, Modeling, and Simulation. He has published/presented over 150 papers in various international/national journals/conferences, guided 10 Ph.D. thesis, supervised 17 Masters thesis, and currently guiding 03 Ph.D. thesis. He has also received a Prestigious National Award for Technology Innovation in the Petrochemical and Downstream Processing Industry on July 17, 2014, by the Honorable Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers Government of India for the year 2013-14. He has also received the best paper award in CHEMCON 2016, the 69th annual session of the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (a prestigious conference in Chemical Engineering) under the area of water treatment and adsorption. Dr.Sushant Upadhyaya has contributed his work in the area of desalination by publishing his research work in desalination and water treatment journal, cleaner production, membrane water treatment, reviews in chemical engineering Chemical Papers and Journal of Chemical Technology and Biotechnology. He has done his Ph.D. in the area of desalination in the topic of Mathematical Modeling and Experimental Study of Vacuum Membrane Distillation.
